The location since 2006
The Straubinger Kartoffelhandelsgesellschaft mbH was founded in April 2006 by the Probst family and was located in Äußere Passauer Str. 239 in 94315 Straubing.
During the development of the company, the management decided to purchase the storage in Enchendorfstrasse 22 in Plattling. Since July 2010, the Straubinger Kartoffelhandelsgesellschaft had been operating as a production facility at this location.
The Probst family looks back on more than 40 years of experience in potato trade. With this forward-looking investment, a further step was taken to be present in the new millennium in potato export, shipping, preparation, distribution and storage.
In terms of personnel and machinery, the company faced up to the new tasks. Among other things, a palletizer, two computer scales, a potato washer and a powerful goods receiving were installed. The unpacked bulk storage was changed to 1,500 boxes à 3-ton.
2019: Straubinger Kartoffelhandelsgesellschaft mbH became EUROPLANT.
